Traffic is often controlled by police members regulating the flow onto crossroads and junctions despite traffic lights being in place as well. The traffic police members as many other state employees wear gorgeous uniforms and even pop out cool sunglasses once the sun shows out. Many of them appear to be female. A fact that drew a lot of attention in the past.

Due to the nature of my fixed lens camera the only way to zoom is by using my feet. On one occasion the traffic lady saw the van with the governmental tourism agency emblem on the door before we actually turned right. When I was on a good height to shoot out of the open window she gave me a broad smile. People are humans after all. The system in which they live doesn’t change the fact a smile will be reflected almost everywhere in the world.
