Woke up at 5.45 AM to take my bike to the abandoned Airport of Battambang. Operation stopped since mid 2000s and hasn’t recovered ever since. The premises are home to some 30 soldiers that keep an eye on the area. In the afternoons the abandoned landing strip becomes the local meeting point for young people.…
