The government bases most of the countries legacy and future onto the Juche ideology. Originally developed by Kim Il-Sung the idea transformed from the marxist-leninist foundation to a truly Korean belief over the years. The meaning of a unique Korean reception may not be underestimated. A society where certain sentiments have their own descriptive words that can not be translated literally but only by explaining their concept is psychologically more complex than the average crowd you’d see on a normal sunday afternoon strolling the parks of a city.
The Juche Ideology
The Juche Tower visualizes this ideology and the strive of the Korean nation to achieve their glorified version of socialism. The tower is a landmark in itself but also it allows the ascendants to get a good glimpse over the city in total.
