Since a long time I was keen to find out about a place not too far from home. The Freilichtmuseum in Beuren seemed like a fun place to explore. Especially given the idea that there should be some artisan workshops to explore. On a sunny day we embarked with the kids to visit the place.

The drive was pleasantly short and the first impression very nice. The warm weather and kids logistics would shift our focus away from the buildings and artisan workshops. The idea of a Picnic and the large playground prevailed over all. A nice day well spent.

I am still dreaming to visit the Ballenberg museum in Switzerland. Last time on our way back from Lac Lemans the weather was against us.
