I am in Lonely Beach Koh Chang right now. B.A. has recovered in Sihanoukville (Snooky) for a few days. When she got finally better we parted ways again. She took the direct way out of Cambodia. Traveling to the capital Phnom Penh and taking a direct flight to Bangkok. She will rest some more days. Just to make sure there aren’t any risks.

I initially thought about going back to where I left. But traveling to Kampot felt not right. So I decided I’ll make the trip I was planning to do when I left Battambang. I took a really old and slow bus along the Cambodian coast to the border of Hat Lek. From there onwards to Trat and finally by ferry to the island of Koh Chang.

I am sitting in front of Sleepy Owl Coffee in the Lonely Beach area and am going to have my second day on what feels like an almost perfect beach.

I have made some crappy iPhone pictures in the progress. But I am lazy. So I guess the next quality photo story will take some more time.

I’m planning to do my first work session starting on monday. I still have to decide what would be the right place. The internet here is very fast, so perhaps I’ll stay on the island or leave to Bangkok as well.

Anyway I’m looking forward to meet B.A. In Bangkok next week from where we will hopefully be able to continue our travel together.
