Opposite from the impressions at the dump yard this morning are the beaches on Koh Chang. The beach sites at this island are really nice. Sometimes it’s just you, perfect blue water and a Thai woman trying to sell you inflatable plastic dolphins. An awesome place.

My accumulator of beach impressions is loaded to the maximum. I can’t stand this scenery another day. So I’ll get me a Song Thaew – the local mode of transportation where up to 10 people sit in the back of a pick up truck and make the jump to the mainland.

I expect to arrive in Bangkok tomorrow afternoon. Just in time for the first official work meeting with my german colleagues.

I also do look forward to finally meet her again. I do miss her a lot. Fortunately she’s literally just a a day ride away.
