I am living in Bangkok since almost 2 weeks now. B.A. had to fly back home because of a passing in her family. That left me alone in the City of Angels. I decided I would not travel during that period but to make sure I get some work done and find myself a good place to stay.
That was two weeks ago. Since then a lot of things happened. But most of the time was just living a day to day live in this crazy city. At first I lived in a nice AirBnB apartment in Sukhumvit Son 39. After a week of luxury I relocated to a place called “The Yard Bangkok” (theyardbangkok.com) were I am living since.
Yesterday on April 13th the Songkran festival started. The festival is the official celebration of the buddhist new year. Festivities consist of splashing water on everything that moves and doesn’t get away fast enough. The original intention was to wash the buddha statues. But in Thailand everyone gets his fair share. I’ll try to get some better pictures and keep you posted.
