The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum holds the enshrined body of the communist revolutionary leader. Unfortunately we missed the opening hours in the morning so we didn’t get the full experience. The place feels distant and one can imagine how much more estranged the places in Pyongyang must look like. I should definitely investigate those socialist countries of the world a little more.
The nearby Museum of the man himself is a mixture between psychedelic architecture and personal cult. Nonetheless this place sparked the interest for the history of this country and after the visit many articles and information were consumed. After having visited different South-East Asian countries the fate and history of each of them becomes so much more consistent when the stories of the surrounding countries are known.
