Upon return my elder daughter asked why we couldn’t stay in the cool place for a longer time or move there altogether. Kids aren’t worried about real estate and have their own perception of home.

Packing for a trip with hand luggage since a long time again (almost, as the car was boasting with tons of other stuff to be packed for Kid #2) as my stuff and the stuff of Kid #1 is able to be packed easily together.
